When Donna put me down for a time management tip, I was a bit scared, but then it hit me. The biggest thing I do to manage my time is to have a cleaner!
I have a preschooler and a baby, and run a business. It is very hard to fit it all in, along with cooking, cleaning, and everything else I have to do in a week. I didn't want to put my kids in daycare, so opted for a cleaner.
I found a local uni student who comes in for an hour and a bit. We pay $50 a week for her to come and she cleans the toilet, bathroom, vacuums, and does anything else she can fit in that time. All we have to do is make sure the house is tidy so she can clean.
This has been fantastic for me as it gives me more time to play with the kids and work on my business and we still have a nice clean house, which is great as my little man is crawling and getting in to everything!
I hope this tip is useful for you.
Love, Erica
Totally worth it! When I was working full time, studying part time, and trying to have a life (no kids, but hey, life was hectic!!), it was the best fortnight spend I had! The feeling of coming home to a perfect and clean house was BLISS!!!
I know. I LOVE my cleaner. Now that we have her, I can't imagine living without her.
